Hidden Parts

If a piece seems to be missing during assembly, there is a good chance it has been packed inside the item for transit. To help protect larger furniture during shipping, certain components are sometimes placed in less visible areas and can be easy to overlook at first glance.

Where to Check First

Before assuming a part was left out, carefully inspect the item and all packaging materials. Hardware, legs, shelves, supports, and other components may be secured inside or beneath the product to keep them protected in transit.

  • Open any drawers, cabinets, compartments, or panels.
  • Check underneath the item and along the back.
  • Look inside zippered sections, cushions, or enclosed storage areas, if applicable.
  • Review all boxes, inserts, wrapping, and protective materials before discarding them.

Helpful Next Step

If your item includes assembly instructions, compare the parts list with what you have already unpacked. This can help you identify whether the part is still tucked away inside the item or packaging.

If You Still Cannot Locate the Part

After checking the product thoroughly and reviewing the packaging, please contact MaisonCrest for assistance. Our team will be happy to help you review the item details and guide you on the next step.
